Modern Slavery Statement

This statement is made pursuant to section 54 part 6 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps that Capital Valley Plastics has taken to ensure that slavery and human trafficking is not taking place in our business or any part of our supply chain.

Capital Valley Plastics is a UK based manufacturer of polythene film for the construction industry.

Modern slavery encompasses slavery, servitude, human trafficking and forced labour. Capital Valley Plastics has a zero-tolerance approach to any form of modern slavery. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity and transparency in all business dealings.

Capital Valley Plastics operates a supplier policy and maintains a preferred supplier list. We conduct due diligence, including an online search to ensure that our suppliers have never been convicted of offences relating to modern slavery. Should it come to light that any of our suppliers are using forced labour, coercion or human trafficking they would be removed from our approved supplier list with immediate effect.

This statement has been approved by the companies directors.
